This was a package I created, designed, animated, and edited for our hour special series, The Root. The special was on the history of the US Government's history of spying and digital espionage on corporate, foreign and civilian targets. This was the first thing created for this particular special and previously we hadn't done any post-prod effects or animations in them, but when I started playing around with the computer distortion effects on this package, our executive producer for the show loved it and we made my designs the standard graphical look throughout the rest of the special. After this piece, each subsequent 'Root' special incorporated visual animations and text callouts that fit the topic.
