DFW Airport (via CMTS llc.)
Video Specialist
For DFW Airport, I do what is essentially internal marketing. As Texas and the DFW region have exponentially grown over the past 10 years, so to has the DFW airport. As construction has kicked into gear to meet the demands of passengers, DFW Airport has to entice the largest number of construction and service contractors bidders possible. During the pandemic, with limits on in-person conferences, they needed to pivot to pre-produced videos to build excitement and advertised upcoming projects. Since coming in, I've been either the sole editor or head editor for all 6 of these conferences (called the Business Opportunity Forum). What used be a couple hundred people watching a slideshow presentation via Zoom/Skype, has now become over 1300 people watching, in person, a high quality, pre-produced video in multiple large screen theaters (at the AMC in Grapevine, TX).
Also, when not preparing for the next Opportunity Forum, I am helping do large presentation videos that EVPs and VPs are making to the CEO and Board of DFW Airport. I've also worked with the DFW External Marketing team on several times, getting them additional video and photos needed of the construction work going on around the airport. I've built a very robust video library of not just the construction work, but of daily operations and passenger traffic at DFW Airport.
I've helped to augment how they evaluate construction sites also. By taking the video our drone team gets of construction sites and tracking & overlaying the blueprints over the site, Managers and Vice Presidents can better see progress and layouts of the sites.
