'6 Days in Iraq' was a 75 min documentary made in 2016, in which I served as head editor for. The project took nearly 2 months of production time because of a few direction changes from our executive producers to find the right tone, but ultimately turned out to be a pretty successful project for us. This project had over a hundred hours of footage that myself and another editor had to work through. I was in charge of laying out the narration and 'bones' of the entire project, but also did the complete edit of 3 of the 6 blocks. There are several things that I take pride in with this project, but more than anything I take pride in my organizational and communicative efforts in this project in how difficult it was to organize and change directions of the project multiple times.
